Project overview
A podcast that sounds like your group chat.
OOPCAST is a conversational podcast created for Gen Z and young adults. The goal was to create a podcast that feels authentic, entertaining and relatable — making listeners feel like they are part of a genuine conversation between friends.
The concept is built around spontaneous and randomly selected topics, with the hosts sharing opinions, experiences and reactions around relationships, university life, friendships, social media, trends, everyday experiences, humour and unexpected “out-of-pocket” moments.
The project ran from concept to finished episode: branding and visual identity, episode artwork and photoshoot, scripting, filming and recording, then editing and social content.

THE CONCEPT
OOPCAST was created to feel less like a traditional structured podcast and more like being part of a real conversation between friends.
The content centres around spontaneous topics, personal stories, opinions, humour and unexpected moments that appeal to a Gen Z audience.

“Authentic conversations. Strong personalities. No overthinking.”

Production
FROM IDEA TO EPISODE
The project extended beyond branding into actual content production, combining filming, audio recording, editing and digital content to turn the concept into a complete podcast experience.
Tools
- DJI Osmo
- Audacity
- Adobe Podcast
- CapCut

Personality first, polish second.
The photoshoot leaned into the venue's red light and the hosts' own energy — the same tone the episodes carry.
